2008 May > Cheque Presentation

The Town of Orangeville presented the Legion with a cheque for $20,000, to aid with the cost of refurbishing the monument sitting behind town hall. Part of the Veteran's project is to retool names and inscriptions of soldiers. Approx. $54,700 will be needed to complete the project. Thanks to the Legion for taking on this project to honour local war heroes and the Town of Orangeville for their support.
