Students & staff from East Garafraxa Central School were thrilled to welcome Paralymic multiple sledge hockey gold medal winner Brad Bowden to their school AND have their picture taken with the Stanley Cup! Escorted by local dignitaries, hockey lovers and staff from the Hockey Hall of Fame, the cup took centre stage in the school gymnasium. Children (as well as parents and teachers) were decked out in hockey jerseys and gear, and were allowed to ask questions before photos were taken. Thanks to all who made this memorable event happen!
