Funding for Alzheimer Dufferin

Funding for a new project at Alzheimer Dufferin has everyone smiling - David Tilson MP presented Dir. Laurie Turza with a cheque for $25,000 to support their new Caregiver Journals - Sharing the Journey project. Funds come from the New Horizons for Seniors Program, and will allow caregivers the opportunity to tell their stories in local media, which will reduce the fear and stigma many associate with Alzheimer disease. www.alzheimerdufferin.org
