Players, sponsors & a ref enjoy opening day

Opening Day for Soccer!

Another season for youth soccer was kicked off on a great sunny day - parents brought along lawn chairs and kids of all ages were excited to play. Day sponsors included Dairy Queen (serving up a ton of their delicious burgers in support of OMS) and new team sponsor - the Dufferin Network for Prevention of Elder Abuse. The DNPEA has been promoting an intergenerational approach to raising awareness about elder abuse in youth and seniors and got the message across with their Expect Respect team shirts.
